Kate & Alex were after our “most fun party” award (a very unofficial award we “give”, amongst other fun categories, in our wedding season) and they won it.
Their group of 106 guests from the UK filled the evening with song and dance.
The wedding party caravanned over to Italy in sports cars, enjoying the various European sites. The event stared with a big pizza party in Piazza del Campo in the centre of Siena the night before the wedding.
The wedding itself was held at Villa Dievole winery and had a secret garden theme for its décor.
The ceremony was filled with smiles and emotion while a string duo played and a tenor sang.
The dinner was held in the garden with vertical fairy lights hanging down from the big oak trees. Dancing – and what dancing! – was on the patio with a twinkle light ceiling overhead.
The next day everyone met at Fattoria di Corsignano for an evening BBQ by the pool.
